Special ed teachers thank assistants who have been outsourced
To the Editor:
This letter is a tribute and thank you to the wonderful people who have dedicated themselves to the children with special needs in the Flemington-Raritan School District.
These 62 people have been outsourced. Many are not returning at all and some are returning for much lower wages (not enough to even cover paying their COBRA insurance). Below are some of our feelings about them:
To our dedicated TAs:
Words cannot express what you mean to us or the children with special needs in our schools. You have been instrumental in changing the lives of the many students and teachers you have worked with throughout the years.
The selfless ways in which you have helped support, guide, and enrich the lives of our students, all the while keeping their integrity and self value in focus, is a testament to the highly respected individuals we have been honored to have worked with and keep as close friends in the future.
You knew and understood our students as well as we did: when to push them, when they needed help, and when they needed encouragement to try on their own. You are problem-solvers, organizers, and are never idle.
You have been the “glue” that holds the programs together and makes them the “well-oiled machines” they are.
We could not have done it without you. The difference you have made will never be forgotten.
Be well, dear friends. Your worth is immeasurable and you will be greatly missed.
TEACHERS AND SPEECH THERAPISTS OF STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
As a Mother to a disabled Son, I too thank all of those assistants whom gave so much. Our Son is out of the school system now but, I feel awful for the teachers, and especially the Children still in school. From my 18 years experience with a special needs child in school...The work assistants do is priceless. Teachers are wonderful but, there's no doubt in my mind how much they need help with those kids. This truly is a very sad day for everyone involved with the disabled. Teachers, Children, Parents, and the assistants alike. My heart aches for you, and I pray it works out somehow for all.

We want you to know that there are not enough words to express how thankful and blessed we are that you have been there and continue to be there during the fire and our return home. There are so many good people around the world and we are grateful for
"I cannot find the exact words to express my thinking, my gratitude and my feeling today," Niyungeko said. "Allow me to say thank you, thank you, thank you." Yesterday, more than 50 Habitat volunteers and supporters filled the upstairs and downstairs

What's more, they showed a video with no fewer than 15 or 20 recognizable celebrities saying “thank you” Wal-Mart. If Sam Walton were alive, he'd scoff at the idea of wasting money to parade in rich, famous people to talk about Wal-Mart when there are
More Than Words Can Say | THE NOTE PROJECT
When I learned about the Note Project, I went through some of my old letters and found a copy of a Thank You note I hadsent my friend Michele after my mom had passed away. Michele was truly there for me at one of the most difficult times in my life. It has been almost 18 years since my mom passed away and I can still feel the love and support that surrounded me at this time of great loss.
I decided to share my letter to Michele not only to express my gratitude to her but to also show what an impact you can have on the life of a friend that has lost a loved one.
Dear Michele,
I have been deeply blessed with loving family members and caring friends that were there for me throughout the grieving process. Their thoughtfulness inspired me to create the website www.IDidNotKnowWhatToSay.com , where we share resources and inspirational ways to support a grieving love one. We invite you to share your story.
The greatest healing therapy is friendship and love. I Didn’t Know What To Say, a website created to inspire and to provide you with tools to assist a love one through the grieving process.
