Why It Seems Hotter to Some People

I was getting ready to go for my evening jog tonight, and had already put on my running clothes and shoes and gone outside to warm up. After warming up for about 3 minutes, I began to notice that the air seemed so thick with humidty that I was starting to have a little trouble breathing. I have asthma and not only is it humid today, but it is also a Red alert day for people with allergies because of the ragweed. And, I am sooooo allergic to ragweed that a lot of times it will stir up my allergies as well as my asthma. I've been to the ER multiple times because of allergy-induced asthma attacks this time of year. My husband and I have been married for over 11 years. We have twin girls who are 8 and a son who is 6. The twins are perpetually either mothering him to death or antagonizing him. Poor guy is outnumbered...even the cats don't help even out the estrogen in the house...one boy cat and one girl. The girl, Gracie, is sweet and shy. The other one, Spanky, is ornery beyond all belief, but absolutely hysterical. Our life resembles a daily comic strip...so frustrating at times but funny too. You have to just let it go and find the funny moments in every day, and believe me, there are plenty of "moments" around this household!
