SUSAN HURLBURT of Salvation Army serving West Polk County has been named director of development. Hurlburt, who has been with the non-profit organization for 22 years, previously worked in administration and accounting. Her new role will involve fund raising and community relations.

PAM HAGAN has been promoted to corporate vice president of human resources with Bright House Networks. Hagan, who has more than 20 years of experience in human resources management and strategy and has been with the Tampa Bay division of Time Warner Cable since 2000, will be responsible for the overall management of human resources throughout all of Bright House Networks' markets.
